Council Operations

The Navy League is a world wide organization that is broken down among 4 areas:  National, Regional, Area, and Local.

The Local Council can be started with as few as 25 members and have Councils with over thousands of members.  They are the backbone of the Navy League, from each Council we learn and educate ourselves as well as others on the presence of strong Sea Services along with support the active duty military associated with the sea services.

The Area regions, are made of several councils, they support the area and when prudent have joint events following along with the Navy League Missions.  ie. Navy Week,

The Region areas are made of areas within the regions, they serve as the eyes and ears of the Navy League and the flow of information to and from National to support the Navy League's mission to the best that it can be executed.

What better activity than to learn and support of the Sea Services and to find out the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for the world's supreme maritime force for peace, freedom, and prosperity.
